Local 324 Plumbing Apprentice wins Nationals 2nd Year in a row!

UA Local 324 would like to congratulate the following apprentices who attended the 2010 Western Canadian Apprentice Competition in Edmonton, Alberta in April 2010.
David Cowie – Steamfitting
Peter Maddock – Sprinklerfitting
Landon Martin – Plumbing
David & Peter showed great skill and determination during the competition. Both had good grades across the board. Although it wasn’t the outcome they were hoping for we’re very proud of them.
Landon Martin won the Western Canadian Plumbing competition and went on to again win at the National Competition again in Edmonton. Landon will now be going to Ann Arbor, Michigan in August to compete in the International Apprenticeship competition.
This is the second year in a row our Plumbing apprentice has taken the Western and National Apprentice Title. Last year’s National winner Alasdair Reid was asked by the Canadian Head office to attend and support Landon.
