Over the years our events have continued to change. Unfortunately, the annual family picnic and fishing derby held at Sunny Shores for many years is no longer held each summer due to participation decline. Contact Bates Beach Oceanfront Resort to book your reservations: 250-334-4154 or visit their website: www.batesbeach.bc.ca

Entertainment Committee:

The Entertainment committee has been around since the early 1900's. There are pictures hanging in our Union Hall of picnics held at Goldstream and in Shawnigan Lake in the early days. Over the years the events have changed but the volunteer participation has remained.

None of these events could ever be successful if were not for the volunteers of the Union to make it happen. We also get great help from our wives who volunteer their time to make these functions successful.

Committee Members:

  Chairman Bob Horn
    Allan Longstaffe
    Dale Dhillon
    Ken Beswick
    Lyle Flett
    Peter Williams

* All functions are paid for by the Union and contributions from M.T.P.F
